OK, it's 70 minutes but its worth watching. Download it and watch it in installments if you suffer from ADS. It's a nice, simple exposition of what went wrong in the US financial markets (the 'subprime' crisis) and the US economy. Explains what the Bird & Fortune clip is about in simple terms. Krugman is the author of the textbook we are using, a John Bates Clark award winner, a possible future Nobel prize (IMHO), a NY Times regular contributor and he has pushed the frontiers of international economics further with his contributions.
