Please do read the pages/chapters I assigned from Prof. Dasgupta's Very Short Introduction to Economics book. I can assure you that you will enjoy it.
If you're going to do it, don't wait until the last few days of the break. I prefer that you hand in nothing than copying someone else's work or cramming the last minute.
