"....the secret to happiness is: low expectations..."Elly Vintiadis brought this TED talk to my attention. This is Barry Swchartz, professor of Social Theory and Social Action at Swarthmore College. This semester he is teaching Psychology, Economic Rationality, and Decision Making and a seminar in Thinking, Judgment, and Decision Making.
Not only is he a most engaging speaker but what he says makes a lot of sense (keep in mind, he is focusing on western industrial societies). And, it is closely related to our field, Economics.
